The newsletter. If you choose to subscribe, you provide your email address and, depending on what you enter, your name. That is the only information requested, and subscribing is entirely voluntary.
The contact form. If you use it, you provide your name, email address, the subject of your inquiry, and your message. This information is used solely to respond to you. The subject you select indicates which service interests you: this information is treated with the same discretion as the rest of our exchange.
Your emails. If you write directly to sacha@enlumination.ca, your message and address are kept in the inbox, like any correspondence.
Nothing else is collected. This site does not use cookies, does not use any audience measurement tool, and does not track your browsing.
Your newsletter address serves one purpose only: to send you the newsletter, roughly once per season, or four to six times a year. It is never sold, never rented, never exchanged, and never used for anything else.
Your emails, whether from the contact form or a direct message, are used to respond to you.
The newsletter is managed with Brevo, an email service whose servers are located outside Quebec, in Europe. The contact form is managed with Formspree, a service located in the United States. By using these forms, you agree that your address will be stored there. This disclosure is required by Quebec law, and it is normal that you should know it.
Your address remains on the newsletter list as long as you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, it is removed from the sending list and permanently deleted within the following twelve months.
Emails received, whether from the contact form or a direct message, are kept for as long as useful to the relationship, then deleted.
